Project Summary:
CAA developed a strategy to upgrade the Chilled Water Pipework infrastructure at Sydney Airport’s Terminal 1 to support its 2050 future upgrades. The project involved the replacement of 5km of pipework in an underground services tunnel. We developed a delivery strategy that avoided any disruption to the terminal during delivery.

Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) Asset Replacement

Project Summary:
PCAs deliver temperature-controlled air to parked aircraft, reducing fuel use by allowing the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) to be turned off. This project focused on replacing aging PCA units to increase operational reliability, compatibility with next-gen aircraft, and overall sustainability.

Qiddiya Entertainment Precinct (Saudi Arabia)

Project Summary:
Management of schematic and detailed MEP design delivery for a $3.5B USD E-Gaming precinct in Riyadh. Coordination of 31 design consultants across multiple disciplines and time zones.

Sea Water Condenser Plant Replacement
Client: Star Casino – Sydney Integrated Resort

Project Summary:
Replacement of the entire sea water condenser water system located 7 metres below sea level in Darling Harbour, supporting 35MW of cooling capacity.
Key Tasks:
3 x 500 l/s Grundfos Super Duplex SS pumps
1200mm primary header, controls, and Bernoulli filtration
Delivered in a high-risk marine environment under the active resort
T1 Chilled Water Central Energy Plant Upgrade
Client: Star Casino – Gold Coast Integrated Resort
Role: Project Management, Design Management
Project Summary:
Replacement of 15MW of chillers with a new 22MW capacity plant including 5 x 4MW units and 30MW Cooling Tower farm. Included integrated condenser heat exchange for optimal energy transfer.
Electrical Central Energy Plant Upgrade
